I am a lifelong educator: spanning from elementary teacher to graduate level adjunct professor, gifted specialist, school leader, grant manager.... y mas. My professional expertise lies in the convergence of gifted and culturally and linguistically diverse education (I hold Master's degrees in both). In addition to creating fast-paced and engaging professional development, I am a Gifted Education Regional Consultant (GERC) in the southwest corner of Colorado and the Gifted Coordinator for the San Juan BOCES.
I believe in innovation, equity, kindness, and curiosity. I love to work with systems (large and small) to increase access, opportunity, and understanding. The "CLD and Gifted" series is the culmination of 27 years of working with diverse learners, and I hope you take the leap and join a cohort.
